Navigating the Path Back to Society with Support, Opportunity, and Dignity

About the Veterans' HVRP Initiative

The Bridge Club of Greater Lowell is excited to present the "Veterans' HVRP Initiative." This comprehensive program is meticulously designed to support veterans as they transition back into society from homelessness. Our approach recognizes the multifaceted challenges faced by our veterans, providing them with robust resources, opportunities, and support in their journey toward reintegration and recovery.

Holistic Assistance for Veterans

1. Employment Assistance: We stand with our veterans, providing access to a network of CORI-friendly employers eager to welcome them into the workforce, ensuring they have the employment stability necessary for a successful reintegration.
2. Vocational Training Opportunities: Our collaboration with the New England Tractor Trailer School provides veterans with essential Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC-R) training, equipping them with valuable skills for sustainable employment.
3. Transportation Services: Our initiative guarantees hassle-free transportation to and from work or school for up to one year, removing logistical barriers to education and employment.
4. Apprenticeship Opportunities: Veterans can enhance their skills and industry knowledge through diverse apprenticeship opportunities, fostering personal and professional growth.
5. Paid Housing: Secure and stable housing is crucial to rebuilding lives. Our program supplies up to three months of paid housing, ensuring our veterans have a reliable and comfortable home base.

Recovery and Wellness Support
