About Us
Welcome to The Bridge Club of Greater Lowell, a beacon of hope and support since its establishment in 2018 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to create a nurturing space for individuals in recovery, offering solace, community, and a path to wellness.
Our Executive Director, Bob Cox, intimately understands the challenges of the recovery process. Seven years ago, he found inspiration at The Crossroads Club in Delray Beach while battling his own alcoholism. What Bob discovered went beyond a conventional support group – it was a thriving community committed to rebuilding lives. Recognizing the profound impact of this model, he was determined to bring the spirit of support and transformation back to Lowell. Since opening our doors in January 2020, The Bridge Club has blossomed into a vibrant hub, hosting over 30 recovery meetings each week. Our diverse range of gatherings includes Alcoholics Anonymous, All Addicts Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, and Recovery Dharma. If you're passionate about fostering recovery and would like to initiate a new meeting at our welcoming location, we encourage you to contact us. |
Committed to being a constant presence in the lives of those seeking recovery, The Bridge Club is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our dedicated staff of recovery coaches stands ready to guide individuals through their journey or support them in returning from a relapse. Beyond offering a safe haven for meetings, we extend our hand to provide additional services such as assistance with detox, rehab, and placement in sober living environments. We are proud to support individuals in recovery and those reintegrating into society from incarceration, helping them secure employment through our network of CORI-friendly employer partners.
At The Bridge Club, we are driven by a powerful mission — to stem the tide of alcoholism and addiction in the Greater Lowell Area and beyond.
