Recovery Coaching is a personalized support service designed to help individuals navigate the complexities of overcoming addiction. Unlike therapists or counselors who might diagnose and prescribe treatment, recovery coaches focus on providing the tools and guidance needed for someone to pursue their own recovery goals. This includes creating action plans, directing to resources, navigating medical systems, and offering accountability. Recovery coaches adapt to the needs of their clients, offering services that range from in-person meetings to remote check-ins, and can vary from intensive 24/7 support to weekly sessions. They assist with goal setting, progress assessment, and developing new behaviors, focusing on practical, day-to-day strategies for harm reduction and improvement.
