Recovery Coach Academy Part 2: 30 CE Credits
This program is crafted to give individuals aspiring to be Recovery Coaches a comprehensive understanding of addiction fundamentals, the range of substances prone to misuse, their consequences, and the broader implications on mental, physical, and holistic well-being. The curriculum dives into the various phases of change in recovery, focusing on Motivational Interviewing, a research-backed technique to encourage recovery objectives.
The training integrates real-life case scenarios and hands-on activities to bolster cultural sensitivity and adaptability. Significant emphasis is placed on understanding and maintaining the professional ethics for coaches, ensuring that they operate within the defined scope of a Recovery Coach.
Attendees will gain insights and tools to support individuals on their healing journey from addiction, be it those starting their recovery or those aiming to reinforce and prolong it. All instructional materials are encompassed in the course fee.
Part 2 comes with a certificate that covers 30 out of the necessary 60 educational hours towards attaining the Massachusetts Certification for Addiction Recovery Coaching (CARC) credential. It is open to everyone, with no prior requirements.
