Mill City Veterans: Mason House

Mason House is The Bridge Club of Greater Lowell’s transitional residence for homeless Veterans returning to stability. Located at 147 East Merrimack Street in Lowell, MA, Mason House provides a safe, structured environment with wraparound supports focused on housing, employment, recovery, and community reintegration.

Who We Serve

U.S. Veterans (all branches), including those in recovery or re-entry
Individuals seeking transitional housing with case management and employment support
If you are eligible for VA Health Care, and pass our entry screening.

What Residents Receive

Safe, furnished shared rooms in a professionally managed, drug- and alcohol-free home
Veterans-focused case management (goal planning, benefits navigation, referrals)
Employment & training connections (culinary, RCA, CDL, OSHA-10, partner employers, MassHire)
Recovery support (peer recovery coaching, meetings, sober activities)
Transportation assistance for essential appointments and job activities
On-site support & accountability to promote structure, stability, and progress

Length of Stay
Typical stays are 90 days, tailored to an individual’s plan and progress toward permanent housing and sustained employment.

Willingness to engage in case management, employment search/training, and recovery supports
Agreement to follow house guidelines (respect for community, curfew/visitation, no drugs/alcohol)
